« Dreams have always been a very strong source of inspiration for me and, with film-making as my total and complete passion, I have begun a collective film project, working with other talented filmmakers and artists from across the globe. The film will explore dreams and the sub-conscience in a surrealist style, much like cadavre exquis or automatic writing. We are currently a group of two dozen experienced script writers, directors and musicians, producing scripts and music for the film from Manchester, Paris, Montreal, Manila and New York. Director’s experience and influences · Experience of working on long feature films with directors such as Jorge Amat, Alain Schwartzstein and Diane Baratier. · Wrote and produced four short films and involved in dozens more. · For this project, I have been inspired by “Year 01”, Jacques Doillon, Alain Resnais, Jean Rouch (1973); “Coffee and cigarettes", Jim Jarmush, (2003) and “Paris Je t’aime”, multiple directors (2006).
