All the book will be printed in Italian, English and Fench. You will be contacted by the campaign manager to express your preference. Is an error on the rewards and sadly after the campaign approval I can't no more change the description. But don't worry, all the book will be printed in one of the three languages that you will choose (Eng/It/Fr). Just the card will be in English, but you will have a qrcode in each card with a quick link for the digital translation on your phone. But don't worry the understanding of the card's description is not mandatory to win the game, just the numbers on them are important (attack/defense points).
For the pick up service and not pay the delivery cost you have to choose the early birds pack (confluence) that for 25 euro gives you the game set with pick up delivery (organized by mail between us before your arrival) and for a cheaper price that the fianl one.
if in general you don't want to pay shipping cost, choose pickup point and we will arrange by mail for a pick up in Lyon (ignore the "just for early birds"). In this way you will pay just the reward and you can pick it up at your arrival in Lyon.

THE PROJECT/ LE PROJET/ IL PROGETTO

A gamebook in which you are the protagonist that will take you, through an itinerary in the center of Lyon, to visit its most famous spots and to know the historical characters that have made it one of the most famous cities of France! The book will ask you every time your choice: where to go, with whom to talk, what to buy or sell, who to save and who to condemn to death. As in the tradition of RPGs and video games, your choices are those that will decide the game and your victory (or defeat).

In no more than three and a half hours, including the march, you have to save Lyon from the threat of the "Time Riders". Except if you decide early in the adventure to become one of them, moving to the dark side of the game book. A story full of twists and turns, based on precise historical research into the city's museums and archives. Playable both from the point of view of the good and the bad ones, where strategy and a touch of luck will be indispensable, bases its difficulty in ending the mission in time, remaining alive.

But beware, the other players and the same characters in the book can challenge you to take away life points and to be able to defend yourself you will have to have "kairos", cards with the historical characters that have made the history of Lyon. You can collect them along the adventure, discovering them from the deck of cards provided at the beginning of the adventure with the game book. Each card has different attack and defense points, so be careful which cards you choose to capture!

The book will guide you through each step, indicating when you need to move and where (a map will be included in the book), when you can discover and then capture the cards, when you have choices to make and when you can fight.

All you have to do to start the game is go to the starting point with the book and cards and read the first chapter. Let the game begin!

Un livre-jeu où vous êtes le protagoniste qui vous mènera, à travers un parcours dans le centre de Lyon, à visiter ses lieux les plus célèbres et à connaître les personnages historiques qui en ont fait l’une des villes les plus célèbres de France ! Le livre vous demandera à chaque fois votre choix: où aller, avec qui parler, quoi acheter ou vendre, qui sauver et qui condamner à mort. Comme dans la tradition des RPG et des jeux vidéo, vos choix sont ceux qui décideront du match et de votre victoire (ou défaite).

En 3h30 maximum, y compris les déplacements à pied, vous devrez sauver Lyon de la menace des “Maraudeurs du Temps”. Sauf si vous décidez au début de l’aventure de devenir l’un d’eux, en passant du côté obscur du livre jeu. Une histoire pleine de rebondissements, basée sur des recherches historiques approfondies dans les musées et les archives de la ville. Jouable aussi bien du point de vue des bons que des méchants, où la stratégie et une touche de chance seront indispensables, il base sa difficulté à terminer la mission à temps, en restant en vie.

Mais attention, les autres joueurs et les personnages du livre pourront vous défier pour vous ôter des points de vie et pour pouvoir vous défendre vous devrez avoir des "kairos", cartes avec les personnages historiques qui ont fait l’histoire de Lyon. Vous pourrez les collectionner tout au long de l’aventure, en les découvrant à partir du paquet de cartes fourni au début de l’aventure avec le livre-jeu. Chaque carte a des points d’attaque et de défense différents, alors faites attention à ceux que vous choisissez d’attraper !

Le livre vous guidera à chaque étape, indiquant quand vous devrez vous déplacer et où (un plan de la ville sera incluse dans le livre), quand vous pourrez découvrir et ensuite capturer les cartes, quand vous aurez des choix à faire et quand vous pourrez vous battre.

Tout ce que vous avez à faire pour commencer la partie est de vous rendre au point de départ avec le livre et les cartes et lire le premier chapitre. Que la partie commence !

Un libro gioco in cui tu sei il protagonista che ti porterà, attraverso un percorso nel centro di Lione, a visitare i suoi luoghi più famosi ed a conoscere i personaggi storici che l’hanno resa una delle città più famose di Francia! Il libro ti chiederà ogni volta la tua scelta: dove andare, con chi parlare, cosa comprare o vendere, chi salvare e chi condannare a morte. Come nella tradizione dei Giochi di Ruolo e dei videogame, le tue scelte sono quelle che decideranno la partita e la tua vittoria (o sconfitta).

In 3h e mezza massimo, spostamenti a piedi compresi, dovrai salvare Lione dalla minaccia dei “Predoni del Tempo”. A meno che tu non decida a inizio avventura di diventare uno di loro, passando dal lato oscuro del libro gioco. Una storia piena di colpi di scena, basata su accurate ricerche storiche nei Musei e negli archivi della città. Giocabile sia dal punto di vista dei buoni che dei cattivi, dove la strategia ed un tocco di fortuna saranno indispensabili, basa la sua difficoltà nel terminare la missione in tempo, rimanendo in vita.

Ma attenzione, gli altri giocatori e gli stessi personaggi del libro potranno sfidarvi per togliervi punti vita e per potervi difendere dovrete avere dei “kairos”, carte con i personaggi storici che hanno fatto la storia di Lione. Potrete collezionarle lungo l’avventura, scoprendole dal mazzo di carte fornito a inizio avventura con il libro gioco. Ogni carta ha dei punti di attacco e difesa differenti, quindi fate ben attenzione a quali scegliete di catturare!

Il libro vi guiderà in ogni passaggio, indicando quando sarà necessario spostarsi e dove (una mappa sarà inclusa nel libro), quando potrete scoprire e quindi catturare le carte, quando avrete scelte da fare e quando potrete combattere.

Tutto quello che dovete fare per iniziare la partita è recarvi al punto di partenza con il libro e le carte e leggere il primo capitolo. Che la partita abbia inizio!

Tourism without stress!

No need for reservations: the book is playable 24h/24 and 7d/7. Go to the starting point, read the first chapter and start the adventure!
Game in several languages: English, French and Italian (printed version). English and Frenchversions translated from native speakers. No obligation to have a wifi during the game (mandatory only to consult the translation of the informative text of the cards, not indispensable in any case to play the game).
Pause whenever you want. Unlike a guided tour, just like in video games you can pause. Want to stop for coffee, lunch, visit a monument? No problem. Since the challenge is in time, in your character sheet on the book you will have stored all the information collected up to that moment (objects, money, life points) and you will then just mark in the appropriate space "pause" the time of start and end of the break. Then take away these minutes to the time taken to solve the mission and the game is done! We also anticipated the unexpected.
You don’t know the local language? The game is in English, French and Italian (and will be translated into other languages in the future) and challenges with other players (known or unknown) are always through mathematics, a universal language. You only have to subtract the opponent’s attack points from your defense points and vice versa for the fights. It’s really simple.

Pas besoin de réservation : le livre est jouable 24h/24 et 7j/7. Allez au point de départ, lisez le premier chapitre et commencez l’aventure!
Jeu en plusieurs langues : anglais, français et italien (version imprimée). Les versions anglais et français sont traduites par des traducteurs de langue maternelle. Aucune obligation d’avoir un wifi pendant le jeu (obligatoire seulement pour consulter la traduction du texte informatif des cartes, pas indispensable en tout cas au déroulement du jeu).
Faites une pause quand vous voulez. Contrairement à une visite guidée, comme dans les jeux vidéo, vous pouvez faire une pause. Voulez-vous vous arrêter pour prendre un café, déjeuner, visiter un monument? Pas de problème. Comme le défi est chronométré, vous aurez mémorisé dans l’onglet de votre personnage toutes les informations recueillies jusque-là (objets, argent, points de vie) et il vous suffira donc de marquer dans l’espace "pause" l’heure de début et de fin de la pause. Prenez ensuite ces minutes pour résoudre la mission et vous avez terminé ! Nous avons aussi prévu les imprévus.
Vous ne connaissez pas la langue locale ? Le jeu est en anglais, français et italien (et sera traduit dans d’autres langues à l’avenir) et les défis avec d’autres joueurs (connus ou inconnus) sont toujours par les mathématiques, un langage universel. Vous n’aurez qu’à soustraire les points d’attaque de l’adversaire de vos points de défense et vice versa pour les combats. C’est vraiment simple.

Gioco in più lingue: inglese, francese ed italiano (versione stampata). Le versioni in inglese e francese sono tradotte da madrelingua. Nessun obbligo di avere un wifi durante il gioco (obbligatorio solo per consultare la traduzione del testo informativo delle carte, non indispensabile in ogni caso allo svolgimento del gioco).
Fate pausa quando volete. A differenza di una visita guidata, proprio come nei videogiochi potete mettere in pausa. Volete fermarvi a prendere un caffè, fare pranzo, visitare un monumento? Nessun problema. Dato che la sfida è a tempo, nella scheda del vostro personaggio avrete memorizzato tutte le informazioni raccolte fino a quel momento (oggetti, denaro, punti vita) e vi basterà quindi segnare nell’apposito spazio “pause” l’ora di inizio e di fine della pausa. Togliete poi questi minuti al tempo impiegato per risolvere la missione ed il gioco è fatto! Abbiamo previsto anche gli imprevisti.
Non conoscete la lingua locale? Il gioco è in inglese, francese ed italiano (ed in futuro verrà tradotto in altre lingue) e le sfide con gli altri giocatori (conosciuti o sconosciuti) sono sempre tramite la matematica, un linguaggio universale. Dovrete solo sottrarre i punti di attacco dell’avversario dai vostri punti difesa e viceversa per i combattimenti. E’ davvero semplice.

Have an impact.

A classic guided tour once finished often has no social impact on the place we visit. I wanted to create a project that had an impact, to allow the tourist to feel useful in the place he visits, creating a positive chain of actions as a reaction to the decision to visit Lyon with my gamebook. Arena Temporis, after its use, can be deposited in a number of partner stores, from which I will pass to collect the volumes used, clean them and deliver them free of charge to associations that deal with people in fragile situations (social and economic) which in turn will distribute them free of charge to the people who will request it and who are followed by the associations themselves. A global tourism with a concrete effect on local tourism, especially linked to solidarity projects for people in a fragile situation or in a path of cultural and social integration. I would like Arena Temporis to be a free opportunity to create a beautiful memory and a positive impact for example for single-parent families who can hardly afford a budget for leisure activities or for people in an immigration situation who would like to cultural integration but do not have the financial means to pay a classic guided tour. A second life for the gamebooks Arena Temporis that does not cost anything to the tourist but that gives a lot to those who receive them.

Avoir un impact.

Une visite guidée classique une fois terminée n’a souvent aucun impact social sur le lieu que nous visitons. Je voulais créer un projet qui ait un impact, pour permettre au touriste de se sentir utile dans le lieu qu’il visite, en créant une chaîne positive d’actions en réaction au choix de visiter Lyon avec mon livre de jeu. Arena Temporis, après son utilisation, peut être déposé dans un certain nombre de magasins partenaires, d’où je passerai pour collecter les volumes utilisés, les nettoyer et les remettre gratuitement aux associations qui s’occupent de personnes dans des situations fragiles (sociales et économiques) qui, à leur tour, les distribueront gratuitement aux personnes qui le demanderont et qui seront suivies par les associations elles-mêmes. Un tourisme global ayant un effet concret sur le tourisme local, surtout lié aux projets de solidarité pour les personnes en situation fragile ou dans un parcours d’intégration culturelle et sociale. Je voudrais que Arena Temporis soit une opportunité gratuite de créer un beau souvenir et un impact positif, par exemple pour les familles monoparentales qui peuvent difficilement se permettre un budget pour les loisirs ou pour les personnes en situation d’immigration qui souhaitent s’intégrer culturellement mais n'ont pas les moyens financiers pour se payer une visite guidée classique. Une seconde vie pour les livres-jeu Arena Temporis qui ne coûte rien au touriste mais qui donne beaucoup à ceux qui les reçoivent.

Abbi un impatto.

Una classica visita guidata una volta finita spesso non ha alcun impatto sociale sul luogo che visitiamo. Volevo creare un progetto che avesse un impatto, per permettere al turista di sentirsi utile nel luogo che visita, creando una catena positiva di azioni come reazione alla scelta di visitare Lione con il mio libro gioco. Arena Temporis, dopo il suo utilizzo, può essere depositato in una serie di negozi partner, da cui io passerò per raccogliere i volumi usati, pulirli e consegnarli gratuitamente alle associazioni che si occupano di persone in situazioni fragili (sociale ed economica) che a loro volta li distribuiranno gratuitamente alle persone che lo richiederanno e che sono seguite dalle associazioni stesse. Un turismo globale con un effetto concreto sul turismo locale, soprattutto legato ai progetti di solidarietà per le persone in situazione fragile o in un percorso d’integrazione culturale e sociale. Vorrei che Arena Temporis fosse un’opportunità gratuita per creare un bel ricordo ed un impatto positivo per esempio per le famiglie monoparentali che difficilmente possono permettersi un budget per le attività ricreative o per le persone in situazione di immigrazione che vorrebbero integrarsi culturalmente ma non hanno i mezzi finanziari per pagarsi una visita guidata classica. Una seconda vita per i libri gioco Arena Temporis che non costa nulla al turista ma che dona molta a chi li riceve.
