My experience as a dream coach and my love for composing music, acting and directing led
me to writing the script for Oneirophrenia. From the performing arts to theatre, playing the
piano or spinning the decks, I live for my art and this film has been waiting to be produced
for a long time. Producing this teaser has been a dream come true and I cannot wait for the
official screening of this film.

I’ve been working as a stylist for years and am always seeking to connect my clients with the
visual identity that expresses their inner self to the fullest. Tackling the visual details for
such a unique production has given me the opportunity to unleash my creativity. Film – a
long-held personal passion of mine – brings an exciting new facet to my work as I work to
enhance viewers’ visual experience through costumes, colours and props alike.
Together Daisy and Sabrina form a creative duo that aims to challenge, inspire and connect.

CAST

Daisy Ip (°1974) portrays Lux.

Daisy Ip graduated from the drama department of Antwerp’s Studio Herman Teirlinck in 1999 with a major in Cabaret. She works as an actress, coaches children’s drama classes and applies her musical talents to small and larger music and theatre projects nationwide where she acts and composes as well as sings and dances. Somewhere in the middle of all this she goes on to study at the Antwerp Film Academy.
Daisy co-writes and stars in the 2007 feature film ‘Small Gods’ by Dimitri and Nicolas Karakatsanis. Over the years she has starred in several successful television series such as Vermist, Coppers and Amigos. She also plays ‘the bad girl’ next to Wouter Hendrickx in the animation film Zooks by Dimitri and Kristoff Leue. In 2011 she writes and co-directs the short film ‘The Golden Springroll’ and acts alongside Manou Kersting and Jenne Decleir. For this short film she is rewarded with a Public Audience Mention.
Daisy Ip not only directs Oneirophrenia, she also wrote the script and portrays Lux. Together with Sabrina Gibbs (art director, costumes and producer) she is the driving force behind this project.

Jurgen Delnaet (°1972) portrays Noah Vogel.

Receives a degree of master in Drama in 1999 from the drama department Dora Van der Groen, at the Antwerp conservatory. He has since acted, written and directed for a diverse selection of Flemish theatre and production companies. A number of roles as guest actor in several popular TV-series proved a jumping-off point to his 2008 debut on the big screen in the successful and highly praised Aanrijding in Moscou/Moscou, Belgium. This resulted in other high-profile movies such as Code 37 – the movie, Copacabana, where Delnaet is Isabelle Huppert’s love interest, and in early 2014 Delnaet reinvents the concept ‘ghost’ for Halfweg/Halfway.

Wouter Hendrickx (°1975) portrays Titus.

Graduated in 1997 from Studio Herman Teirlinck. He played in theatre productions for known companies such as BRONKS, Laika (Blauw Vier), hetpaleis, KVS, SCENIC, Walpurgis, de Roovers, Lampe. He also wrote and directed for Theater Stap.
In 2001, he debuted on the big screen in the feature film Falling by Hans Herbots alongside Koen De Bouw, Alice Krige & Jill Claighburgh. In 2009 he appeared in the controversial movie The Misfortunates (also known as De Helaasheid der Dingen) in the role of Uncle Petrol. For this he was honored by the Flemish Film Awards with the prize for Best Actor in a supporting role. He continued this momentum in 2010 with a starring role in the award-winning film Oxygen by Hans Van Nuffel.
